Runaways's promo videos

Hey all,

Been coming here awhile but never posted before, but i do have a question I hope you guys can help me with. What songs did they make promos (videos) for. I know of Cherry Bomb, and Saturday Night Special. Just curious if there are any more. I 've only seen cherry bomb and a clip from SNS. Also if anyone knows where i can get copies of them.. downloads or tapes. Thanks in advance

The only promo videos I am aware of are the two you mentioned plus, "Mama Weer All Crazee Now." None of them have been officially released. I'm hoping that someday someone will grant our wishes and release a DVD filled with Runaways' TV performances. Until then, I would recommend requesting "Cherry Bomb," "Saturday Night Special" and "Mama Weer All Crazee Now" on VH1 Classic's All Request Hour. I have seen them play the last two videos in the past. I'll go put in a request right now to help out.

Could someone describe what the Cherry Bomb video is like?
I don't think I've ever seen it!

You might have actually seen the video and didn't know it. That's what happened to me. As posted in the thanks message:

it looks like the video was shot on a studio stage. The camera was trained on Cherie for most of it. She looked like she was having fun [img]biggrin.gif[/img] and actually looked straight at the camera at one point. Poor Sandy hardly got any camera time. I'm guessing that the video was shot in Japan because a picture [img]graemlins/camera.gif[/img] from the video shoot ended up on the cover of the Japanese 1st album reissue. Scroll down to the middle of the page below for the 1st album reissue front and back cover pictures.

The lights above the stage were very distinctive shooting off rays. [img]graemlins/sun.gif[/img] Joan was in black wearing fingerless gloves and white platform boots, Jackie wore a spaghetti strapped top with blue jeans, Cherie was in the trademark corset, Lita was in a slinky all black shirt and pants and Sandy wore a Runaways' t-shirt.

Hey all,

For any of you that have/use Kazaa, Limewire, or any other file trading programs you can easily find the video promo for Cherry bomb on there.. I got my copy off that and also found Saturday night special and mama were all crazy now.. although i'm on dail up and it took for ever to download cherry bomb.. I have yet to completly download SNS and MWCN. I also came across a few TV preformances.. so try looking on there if you can catch it on TV
